CDL-A Regional Reefer Driver-IN-IL-OH- Home Weekly
About The Position
This regional reefer driver position offers a consistent schedule with runs across Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio. Drivers will be out Monday and home weekly for a 34-hour reset, though weekends are not guaranteed as the schedule follows the freight. The average driver covers approximately 1,600 miles per week with about 10 stops, each under 150 miles. The trucks are 2023 Freightliner sleepers with automatic transmissions and outward-facing cameras only. The freight consists of reefer loads, primarily groceries, in dual and tri-temp trailers. All driver unload is required, utilizing a pallet jack with some hand unloading.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old.
- At least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years.
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- No more than 3 DOT recordable accidents in the past 3 years.
Responsibilities
- Drive tractor-trailer combination.
- Operate reefer freight, including dual and tri-temp trailers.
- Perform driver unload using a pallet jack and some hand unloading.
- Complete approximately 10 stops per week, with short hauls under 150 miles each.
- Maintain an average of 1,600 miles per week.
