About The Position

Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is actively hiring experienced CDL-A Jumbo Propane Drivers based in Port Huron, Michigan. This role involves operating specialized 160,000 lb multi-axle Jumbo propane transports, hauling year-round freight. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements required (Drivers holding the combined X endorsement are encouraged to apply.)
Minimum two years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred
Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background requirements
Ability to safely work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Nice To Haves

Experience hauling propane, LPG, anhydrous ammonia, refined fuels, or other bulk liquid/gas commodities is strongly preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Operate specialized 160,000 lb Jumbo propane transports
Transport propane (UN1075) throughout Michigan and surrounding regional service areas
Safely load and unload propane using pumping equipment
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Complete ELDs and shipping documentation
Maintain hoses, valves, placards, and tanker equipment
Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining DHT's industry-leading safety standards
