CDL-A Regional Intermodal Driver | $1,400/WK
About The Position
We are seeking 6 solo drivers and 1 team for our Memphis intermodal account. Drivers will haul containers regionally, be home once a week, and run approximately 2,000 miles per week. This position offers steady work with solid pay and real benefits. Drivers will operate within the Memphis hub with regional routes, potentially being assigned to IL, GA, FL, or NC for 2-week to 1-month periods, requiring flexibility. The schedule involves 5 days on and 2 days off, with shift options of Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday. Weekend and holiday work is required. Drivers will haul containers with live load, live unload, preload, and drop and hook methods. No endorsements are needed.
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- 6 months tractor-trailer experience in the last year, or 12 months combined in the last 5 years
- Clean MVR
- Clean background
- Pass DOT physical
- Pass hair and urine drug screen
- Live within 50 miles of 38116 (Memphis)
- No owner operators
- No trainees
Responsibilities
- Haul containers regionally from the Memphis hub.
- Be home weekly.
- Run approximately 2,000 miles per week.
- Handle live load, live unload, preload, and drop and hook operations.
- Be flexible for assignments in IL, GA, FL, or NC for 2 weeks to 1 month at a time.
- Work a schedule of 5 days on, 2 days off.
- Work weekends and holidays as required.
