About The Position
Drive for a dedicated regional refrigerated grocery account based in Cocoa, Florida, delivering to major grocery and club-store locations throughout Central Florida and into Georgia and South Carolina. The role pays an average of $1,200–$1,300 weekly, with per-load flat-rate pay, $0.11 CPM, $10 stop pay, and the Swift Driver Performance Bonus. Drivers typically cover approximately 1,600–2,400 miles per week. The position involves live unloading at every stop and slip-seat equipment. Driving is primarily overnight, with typical driving hours around 9 PM–9 AM and late-afternoon starts generally between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Weekend and overnight work are required, as are flexibility with daily start times, 10-hour breaks, and 34-hour restarts. Layovers are expected approximately every other day, including weekly layovers. Possible home time includes two midweek days off.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Comfort with overnight driving, regional routes, and live unloads.
- Flexibility with late-afternoon start times and weekend work.
