CDL-A Regional Driver
About The Position
Regional automotive freight with established lane coverage. Weekly home time with a consistent reset. Drivers primarily operate east of I-35 hauling automotive freight. Most loads are drop and hook, helping reduce time spent at shipping and receiving facilities while supporting consistent weekly mileage. The average length of haul is approximately 500 miles, and drivers typically run between 2,500 and 3,000 miles each week. The combination of no-touch freight and a drop-and-hook loads helps reduce unnecessary delays, allowing drivers to spend more time driving and less time waiting.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with a current DOT medical card
- 3 months of experience within the last 12 months or 1 year within the last 3 years
- Experience operating a tractor with a 40-foot or longer trailer
Responsibilities
- Haul 100% no-touch automotive freight.
- Operate primarily east of I-35.
- Perform 90% drop and hook loads.
- Drive between 2,500–3,000 miles per week.
- Maintain a consistent reset for weekly home time.
- Operate late-model Peterbilt 579 trucks with automatic transmissions.
- Utilize inverter and refrigerator included in the equipment.
- Take assigned equipment home.
