This regional driving position focuses on no-touch automotive freight, primarily east of I-35. Drivers can expect to run 2,500-3,000 miles per week on established lanes with a high percentage of drop-and-hook loads. The goal is to keep drivers moving with continuous freight coverage. Drivers typically stay out 7-10 days and receive a 34-48 hour reset at home. Assigned equipment, which includes Peterbilt 579 tractors with inverters and refrigerators, can be taken home during home time. Orientation is completed online, and DOT physicals are scheduled close to home. Transportation to pick up your truck is provided after onboarding.
