About The Position

Trimac is a transportation company with an 80-year legacy, safely delivering products across North America. We offer drivers opportunities in chemical transport, dry and liquid bulk goods, and specialized transportation services. We emphasize safety, stability, growth, and a positive work environment. This role involves regional work with good hometime, typically out 3-4 nights per week, with weekend work required but generally not over the weekend. The work is steady, with contracted/dedicated customers, and involves general chemical freight and tanker transport.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
Current medical card
2-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
Tanker endorsement required
Hazmat endorsement required
Past 7 years without: Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
Past 7 years without: A preventable rollover or fatality crash
Past 3 years without: License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
Past 3 years without: A major preventable accident
Past 3 years without: Two or more moving convictions

Nice To Haves

1-year of chemical tanker experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely delivering shipments to assigned customers.
Completion of all required paperwork, including getting required signatures on documents and bill of ladings.
Maintaining and complying with all state and federal laws.
Obeying DOT and FMCSA E-log requirements.
Submitting all load documents in a timely manner.
Upholding a professional attitude at all times.
Keeping load appointments on time and as scheduled.
