Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).
  • Current DOT medical card.
  • Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
  • Tanker (N) endorsement.
  • Hazmat (H) endorsement (or X endorsement).
  • Strong safety record: no major violations or crashes in the past 7 years.
  • No suspensions or accidents in the last 3 years.
  • Ability to work a regional schedule that includes weekend work as needed.
  • CDL-A (Class A Commercial Driver’s License)
  • Tanker endorsement (N)
  • Hazmat endorsement (H/X)
  • DOT medical card
  • 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience

Responsibilities

  • Operate a Class A tractor-trailer with a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Safely pick up, transport, and deliver general chemical tanker loads while following site-specific procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Complete bills of lading (BOL), delivery receipts, shipping papers, and any required customer or company documentation accurately.
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT and FMCSA requirements.
  • Maintain accurate Hours of Service records and follow DOT/FMCSA E-log rules and company policies.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections; report defects or maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers to support on-time pickups and deliveries and minimize service disruptions.
  • Submit load documents and delivery paperwork promptly in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, respectful demeanor with customers, shippers/receivers, and internal teams.
