Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Current medical card (DOT medical certification)
Tanker (N) endorsement
Hazmat (H) endorsement (or X endorsement preferred where applicable)
Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
Clean safety record including: No drug/alcohol-related violations or major crashes in the past 7 years
No license suspensions or moving violations in the last 3 years
CDL-A (Class A Commercial Driver’s License)
Tanker endorsement (N)
Hazmat endorsement (H/X)
DOT medical card
Tractor-trailer driving (2+ years)
DOT/FMCSA compliance
ELD/E-log usage
Safety and defensive driving
Load documentation/paperwork
Time management and appointment adherence
Customer service and professional communication
Pre-trip/post-trip inspections

Nice To Haves

1 year of chemical tanker experience (preferred)
Familiarity with chemical handling environments, customer site procedures, and related safety protocols
Chemical tanker operations (preferred)

Responsibilities

Operate a tractor-trailer/tanker safely and responsibly while transporting chemical freight on regional routes.
Ensure all loads are properly secured and transported in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and state regulations, including hours-of-service compliance and safe driving practices.
Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with DOT and FMCSA E-log requirements.
Complete required paperwork, obtain customer signatures, and submit load documents promptly and accurately.
Meet delivery schedules, appointments, and customer service expectations while managing time efficiently.
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections; report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Maintain a professional, respectful attitude with customers, dispatch, and teammates at all times.
