About The Position
Trimac is a transportation company with an 80-year legacy of safely delivering products across North America. We are looking for experienced CDL-A drivers for a regional driving opportunity based in the Denver area. This role primarily involves running routes within Colorado, with occasional trips into Wyoming, Kansas, and New Mexico, hauling corrosive materials/acid. The position offers a competitive hourly rate, consistent year-round work, and a supportive company culture.
Requirements
- Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- At least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience required.
- A strong safety record and dedication to excellence.
- At least 1 year of winter driving experience required.
- Mountain driving experience preferred.
- Experience with mountain routes and steep grades is required, particularly on Loveland Pass and the I-70 corridor.
- Past 7 years without: Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances.
- Past 7 years without: A preventable rollover or fatality crash.
- Past 3 years without: License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety.
- Past 3 years without: A major preventable accident.
- Past 3 years without: Two or more moving convictions.
Nice To Haves
- Mountain driving experience preferred.
- Experience with mountain routes and steep grades is required, particularly on Loveland Pass and the I-70 corridor.
Responsibilities
- Drive tractor-trailer combinations for regional hauls, averaging 30-800 miles round-trip.
- Primarily haul corrosive materials/acid.
- Operate within the Colorado area, with occasional trips into Wyoming, Kansas, and New Mexico.
- Handle occasional overnighters only if delays occur.
- Maintain a strong safety record and dedication to excellence.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
