CDL-A Regional Battery Freight Driver – Good Pay | Home Weekly
About The Position
Join a dedicated regional battery freight account offering average weekly pay of $1,900, overtime after 40 hours, consistent weekly home time, and an additional tax-advantaged per diem for qualifying layovers. This dedicated nationwide battery freight account typically handles 2-3 multi-stop loads per week, requiring drivers to use a liftgate and electric pallet jack for driver unload at each stop. Drivers will be assigned automatic late-model Freightliner sleeper cabs and operate within a union environment. The position offers consistent weekly home time with departures on Sunday afternoons for regional routes.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
- Must be at least 22 years old
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
- No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
- Hazmat endorsement required
- Must create a profile with the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse before hire
- Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public, understand traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete required reports and records
- Must meet applicable DOT requirements

- Assistance available to obtain Hazmat within 60 days of hire
