About The Position

Trimac is a transportation company with an 80-year legacy, safely delivering products across North America. We offer drivers opportunities in transporting chemicals, handling dry and liquid bulk goods, and providing specialized transportation services. This role involves hauling various chemicals and compressed gas, with pick-up points in Calvert City, KY (pre-loaded) and destinations across multiple states including SC, NC, GA, AL, KY, VA, TN, OH, WI, IN, MS, CA, and Canada. Drivers are typically out 1-6 days, with 75% dedicated lanes and 25% re-loadable with back-hauls. The average weekly gross is $3,000-$5,000, with pay based on mileage ($1.80 cpm Loaded & $1.35 cpm Empty). A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
1-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
Tanker & hazmat endorsements required
2010 or newer tractor
Passport required (must be eligible to obtain, and may be acquired after hire)
TWIC Card required (must be eligible to obtain, and may be acquired after hire)
Past 7 years without: Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
Past 7 years without: A preventable rollover or fatality crash
Past 3 years without: License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
Past 3 years without: A major preventable accident
Past 3 years without: Two or more moving convictions

Nice To Haves

6 months tanker experience preferred
