About The Position

Our client is hiring CDL-A drivers for a nationwide beverage distribution account operating in every region of the United States. Freight on this fleet is dry van, no-touch, running all 48 lower states. Home time comes every two weeks, giving you a clear, repeatable schedule you can plan your life around while still running the miles that make the paycheck.

Requirements

• A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required, along with a minimum of 3 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
• Must meet all Department of Transportation qualification requirements and hold a current DOT medical certification
• An acceptable motor vehicle record and safety history are required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with all federal testing requirements throughout your employment

Nice To Haves

• Prior dedicated account experience is preferred, particularly on fleets with consistent, repeating routes where familiarity with the lane and the customer builds real efficiency
• A clean safety record, consistent on-time performance, and a track record of steady tenure with previous carriers all strengthen an application
• Drivers who communicate well with dispatch, handle customer contact professionally, and take care of their equipment tend to do well on dedicated accounts like this one

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and legally at all times, completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitoring your hours of service, and keeping your logs accurate and current in accordance with federal regulations and company policy
• Transport freight on schedule across all 48 lower states, following assigned routes, planning fuel and rest stops sensibly, and communicating proactively with your fleet manager when weather, traffic, or a customer delay puts a delivery window at risk
• Verify load counts, seals, and paperwork at pickup and delivery, secure freight correctly for transit, and complete bills of lading and delivery documentation accurately so the customer's ­records and yours agree
• Represent our client professionally at every customer location, maintain the condition and cleanliness of your assigned equipment, and report mechanical issues promptly so they are addressed before they become a breakdown
