About The Position

HWY Express is seeking experienced CDL-A truck drivers for a regional, no-touch dry van position. Drivers will operate primarily east of I-35, covering established lanes with predictable dispatch scheduling. This role offers consistent weekly miles (2,500-2,800) and a predictable home time schedule, with a 34-48 hour reset every 7-10 days. Truck and trailer take-home is permitted. The freight is 100% no-touch dry van, with approximately 70% drop and hook loads, and an average haul length of 500 miles. Drivers will work with modern equipment, including Peterbilt 579 trucks that are three years old or newer, equipped with refrigerators, inverters, automatic transmissions, and Qualcomm communication systems.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
At least 3 months of recent experience within the last 3 years
Valid DOT medical physical

Responsibilities

Operate primarily east of I-35.
Maintain visibility into schedules while running established freight networks.
Drive 2,500-2,800 miles per week.
Handle 100% no-touch dry van freight.
Complete approximately 70% drop and hook loads.
Adhere to a 34-48 hour reset every 7-10 days.
Take-home truck and trailer is permitted.
Participate in orientation held on Mondays and Wednesdays, lasting approximately three days.
