About The Position

Highway Hitters Trucking Company is recruiting CDL-A drivers for a dedicated local route for Walmart based in Johnstown, New York. This is a dedicated refrigerated account offering consistent freight, predictable routes, and daily home time. Drivers operate throughout the Northeast with an established national carrier. New CDL-A drivers and recent graduates are encouraged to apply, as training is available. Experienced CDL-A drivers are also welcome. This is a solo driving opportunity with no-touch freight.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Must meet carrier safety requirements.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Must pass required DOT physical.
• Experience driving refrigerated routes in winter conditions.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle on a dedicated local route for Walmart.
• Drive throughout the Northeast region.
• Handle refrigerated freight.

• Pass required DOT physical.
• Work weekends and holidays as required.
