About The Position
This is a local truck driver position requiring a CDL A. Drivers will be home daily and can expect to average $1,600 weekly, equating to $83,000 annually. The role involves running refrigerated and dry van freight between the Blue Ash & Woodlawn facilities, delivering to Kroger stores in OH, IN, & KY. The daily mileage is 200-300 miles, with 2-4 loads per day and 6-8 stops. This is a slipseat operation. Drivers will be responsible for touching freight, specifically unloading using a powered pallet jack, for which training will be provided.
Requirements
- 3 Months CDL A Experience
- Able to pass the hair follicle drug test
- Clean MVR, No SAP
- Physical ability for live unloads
- Must have personal transportation to and from DC Daily
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Run refrigerated and dry van freight between the Blue Ash & Woodlawn facilities.
- Deliver to Kroger stores in OH, IN, & KY.
- Complete 2-4 loads per day with 6-8 stops.
- Driver unload using a powered pallet jack.
