About The Position

Central Transport is a technologically advanced Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) carrier with a nationwide network. They are seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers at their Fort Wayne, IN location. This role offers consistent routes, operation of modern equipment, and allows drivers to be home every night. Drivers are crucial to customer relations, responsible for ensuring freight is delivered on time and damage-free, and for unloading their trailers daily upon route completion.

Requirements

• 3 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or the willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime)
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that customers' freight is delivered on time and damage free
• Unloading their trailer upon completion of their daily route
