About The Position

We are currently hiring CDL-A drivers for a local shuttle position in Ridgeville, SC (Greater Charleston area). This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for steady hourly pay, home daily, and consistent weekday work. The position involves short, consistent runs of approximately 3 miles between a warehouse and a plant, with an average of 60 miles per day. The freight is 100% no-touch automotive parts, utilizing a drop and hook method. Drivers will operate day cab trucks with manual transmissions and 53’ dry van trailers in a slip seat operation. On-site parking is available.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year recent CDL-A experience.
• Must be able to drive manual transmission.
• No auto restriction.
• Must live within 50 miles of Ridgeville, SC.

Nice To Haves

• TWIC preferred.
• Hazmat preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle loaded trailers from plant to warehouse and return empties.
• Operate day cab trucks with manual transmission.
• Operate 53’ dry van trailers.
• Perform drop and hook operations for automotive parts.
