About The Position

Oak Harbor Freight Lines, with a 110-year legacy across WA, OR, ID, NV, UT, AZ, & CA, is seeking local P&D drivers who are ready to advance their careers and move freight. This position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to be home daily.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements.
• At least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience with similar equipment.
• Valid DOT Medical Certification.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• No DUI, reckless driving, or positive drug/alcohol screen in the last 3 years.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and dispatch/managers.
• Basic English proficiency in reading, writing and verbal communication.

Nice To Haves

• Doubles/triples & chaining experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate tractor trailer combinations between terminals or meet points.
• Adapt to challenging conditions such as inclement weather and various road conditions.
• Meet the Company's reliability standard for employees.
• Ability to chain as needed and to work in inclement weather is required.
• Availability to work weekends and/or nights if needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Competitive Pay: Experienced drivers may earn up to $33.17/hour. Overtime after 8 hours.
