About The Position
This is a dedicated local intermodal driving position based in Paris, Texas. The driver hauls containers using intermodal equipment, traveling to and from the rail. Freight is no-touch and work includes a mix of drop-and-hook, live loads, and live unloads. Drivers are home daily. Average weekly pay is $1,200–$1,300, with approximately 1,100 miles per week. There is no short-haul pay or stop pay. Night shifts are available on either a Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday schedule. Additional work may be needed, and traffic and weather may affect operations.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Experienced first-seat driver.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Must not be a SAP driver.
