CDL A Local Driver - Council Bluffs
About The Position
Building Products Inc. is looking for a professional CDL Driver who values consistency, independence, and work-life balance. This opportunity offers a dependable Monday-Friday route with daily home time, operating in a structured environment with assigned regional routes and routine customers, delivering low-touch freight to trusted dealer partners. Drivers will enjoy the freedom of the road while still being home every night. The position also provides the chance to earn monthly bonuses based on performance, including passing clean roadside inspections, being accident-free, and accurate delivery pictures and signatures.
Requirements
- A valid Class-A CDL license is required
- Understand safety requirements in every stage of your day
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion
- Climb in and out of a semi-tractor/trailer up to 20 times a day
- Requires full use of arms and shoulders to open the trailer curtains
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with taking pictures and getting signatures to complete delivery
- Log information daily of the trips and weight of load
- Clean your truck and equipment to keep in good working order
- Be aware of road conditions and traffic for safe trips
