About The Position
McDonald's largest supply chain partner worldwide is seeking a CDL A Local Delivery Driver in Harriman, NY. This is a union position that offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates with 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience. The driver must be able to work any shift, including weekends, overtime, and holidays, and be comfortable delivering throughout the 5 boroughs.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years old.
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience.
- Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, OT, Holidays.
- Must be comfortable delivering throughout the 5 boroughs.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
Responsibilities
- Unloading and delivering products to customers.
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
- Safely and professionally operating a commercial motor vehicle, including conveyors and carts.
- Securely operating powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck.
- Picking up returned products, including payments and pallets.
- Completing delivery and pick up paperwork.
- Other duties as assigned.
