About The Position

This position is for a Class A Local Delivery Driver based in Harriman, NY. The role involves unloading and delivering products to customers, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicles, and safely operating commercial motor vehicles, conveyors, and carts. Drivers will also be responsible for securely operating powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck. Additionally, the role includes picking up returned products, including payments and pallets, and completing all necessary delivery and pick-up paperwork. This is a union position that offers comprehensive benefits from day one. The schedule requires working any shift, weekends, and holidays, with average shifts of 10-12 hours and roughly 4-5 stops daily, allowing drivers to be home daily. Two off days are typically consecutive.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift and climb
• Must be comfortable delivering throughout the 5 boroughs
