They are looking for an experienced Hazmat Chemical driver for a local driving opportunity in the Richmond, CA, and Pittsburg, CA areas. The role involves local routes primarily hauling corrosive materials/acid, with occasional overnighters only if delays occur. Requirements
- Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- At least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience required.
- A strong safety record and dedication to excellence.
- TWIC Card.
- Past 7 years without: Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances.
- Past 7 years without: A preventable rollover or fatality crash.
- Past 3 years without: License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety.
- Past 3 years without: A major preventable accident.
- Past 3 years without: Two or more moving convictions.
- Experience hauling hazardous materials (chemical/corrosive hauling preferred).
Responsibilities
- Hauling corrosive materials/acid on local routes throughout the Greater Bay Area.
- Performing occasional overnighters only if delays occur.
- Driving with confidence and taking pride in work.
