About The Position
National Shunt Service LLC is looking to expand its team of yard jockeys. The company offers a set schedule with available overtime, medical, dental, and vision benefits (starting day one), paid time off, 401k matching, and company-paid life insurance and short-term disability insurance.
Requirements
- CDL A license
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently move trailers in and out of dock doors, within and between facility buildings
- Routine communication with warehouse regarding the placement of trailers both in door and in the drop lot
- Daily inspection of yard truck, monitoring truck condition and communicate with supervisors when repair(s) is/are required
- Utilize software to receive and complete moves on an as-needed basis
- Continuously follow safe operating procedures
- Inspect trailers
- Other duties as assigned
