About The Position
Looking to pull local containers and sleep in your own bed after every single shift? We have immediate openings on our dedicated intermodal fleet. Handle container transport across the regional metro area while building a solid daily routine and pulling high weekly earnings. This is a 100% no-touch freight position with big hours and daily home time. The running radius is within 150 miles of Salt Lake City, with common loops including runs into Grantsville, Ogden, and Bear River City. Drivers will operate clean daycabs in a slip-seat operation. Occasional 30 to 60-minute wait times for "flips" at the ramp are expected when mounting containers onto DOT-legal chassis.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Must reside within 25 miles of the dispatch yard (Zip Code: 84104)
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Solid driving record
- Clean work history
- Mandatory drug screening
