Experienced CDL-A truck drivers earn $1,450–$1,650 per week while running established automotive parts routes throughout the Southeast. Familiar customers, steady mileage, and multiple home visits during the week create a dependable semi-local routine. The schedule runs Tuesday through Saturday with guaranteed Sunday and Monday off. Drivers also average 2–3 additional home visits during the workweek because routes remain within the Southeast. Start times generally fall between 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Most workdays run 11–13 hours, although some routes may be closer to eight hours depending on freight volume. Routes include 18–23 stops at established customer locations. Repeated delivery patterns help drivers become familiar with the stops, procedures, and customer expectations. Electric pallet jacks are used to move freight at each delivery. The position does not require manually lifting automotive parts, but drivers must be comfortable operating the pallet jack and completing multiple stops. The operation includes 1–2 layovers each week, with customer parking available at no cost. Drivers operate 2020 Freightliner Cascadia trucks with automatic transmissions and hydraulic lift gates. Equipment also includes collision avoidance technology and blind spot detection. Sleeper and day cab configurations are available based on operational needs. Trucks are governed at 65 mph and maintained on a regular service schedule.
