CDL-A Home Weekly Driver
About The Position
Albany Trucking is seeking a full-time CDL-A truck driver for a position offering home weekly time with established regional freight. This role provides predictable route planning across familiar lanes, ensuring a consistent workweek. Drivers will operate a 2021 or newer Freightliner or Kenworth sleeper tractor. The freight is no-touch general commodity freight, primarily running east of I-35 with no NYC routes, and occasional loads throughout the lower 48 states. Drivers average approximately 2,500 miles per week with average haul lengths around 700 miles. Some drivers may have the option to take their truck home depending on parking availability and location.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum of 3 months of tractor-trailer experience
Responsibilities
- Drive a 2021 or newer Freightliner or Kenworth sleeper tractor.
- Transport no-touch general commodity freight.
- Operate primarily on regional routes east of I-35, with occasional loads throughout the lower 48 states.
- Maintain an average of approximately 2,500 miles per week.
- Adhere to predictable route planning and established lanes.
- Ensure dependable performance and long-haul comfort.
