About The Position
Mack Industries is hiring Class A CDL Flatbed Drivers to join their growing team. This is a local driving position with consistent work, strong weekly earnings, and the opportunity to build a long-term career with a stable company. Drivers will be responsible for safely transporting engineered precast/prestress concrete products to job sites, ensuring loads are properly secured, and following all safety regulations. The role involves working in outdoor construction environments and requires a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and at least one year of driving experience.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- At least 1 year of driving experience
- Ability to haul oversized and heavy loads
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Flatbed experience preferred
- Crane experience or extra certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Safely transport engineered precast/prestress concrete products to job sites
- Ensure all loads are properly secured and meet safety standards
- Assist with loading and unloading using forklifts/cranes as needed
- Follow all DOT and company safety regulations
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and routine equipment checks
- Use ELD systems to log inspections, hours, and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries
- Verify product counts and condition before departure and upon delivery
- Support team operations and assist other departments when needed
