About The Position

This regional position combines dependable miles with a no-touch operation that helps keep drivers moving. Reliable dry van freight and balanced scheduling give CDL-A truck drivers the opportunity to build productive weeks while enjoying regular time at home. Drivers operate primarily late-model Peterbilt 579 trucks along with other well-maintained equipment built for regional operations. The equipment and no-touch operation are designed to support productive trips while reducing unnecessary downtime during the workweek. Drivers primarily operate east of I-35 hauling automotive freight. Approximately 90% of loads are drop and hook, helping reduce delays at customer locations. The average length of haul is approximately 500 miles, and drivers typically average 2,500–3,000 miles each week.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A with a current DOT medical card.
  • 3 months of experience within the last 12 months or 1 year within the last 3 years.
  • Experience operating a tractor with a 40-foot or longer trailer.

Responsibilities

  • Haul automotive freight east of I-35.
  • Operate late-model Peterbilt 579 trucks or similar well-maintained equipment.
  • Perform approximately 90% drop and hook loads.
  • Average 2,500–3,000 miles per week.
  • Maintain a consistent reset weekly.
  • Utilize automatic transmission equipment, inverter, and refrigerator.
