CDL-A Dry Van Driver
About The Position
HWY Express is seeking a dedicated CDL-A Dry Van Driver for a full-time position based in Greensboro, NC. This role involves running dedicated dry van freight with weekly home time, typically on Friday or Saturday nights. Drivers will earn between $1,350 to $1,550 per week. The freight is dedicated dry van, requiring driver unload deliveries, primarily serving the Southeast and some Midwest regions for the same customer. The fleet consists of modern Freightliner Cascadias (no older than 3 years) with automatic transmissions, and drivers have the option to take their truck home during home time.
Requirements
- Class A (CDL-A) license
- At least three months of recent local or regional driving experience within the past year
- Experience operating a tractor with a trailer measuring 40 feet or longer
Nice To Haves
- Rider policy available after 30 days, subject to accident and citation-free record
- Experienced drivers have the opportunity to become mentors
