CDL-A Dry Van Driver

CK TransportationCharleston, SC
$1,350 - $1,500Onsite

About The Position

This position offers a dependable regional driving opportunity for CDL-A truck drivers, focusing on organized freight planning, steady weekly miles, and predictable home time. Drivers based in Charleston operate established regional routes with a consistent flow of no-touch freight, allowing for productive weeks without constant changes to schedules or dispatch plans. The role involves operating throughout established regional lanes serving customers across the Southeast, with freight moving consistently through well-developed shipping corridors. Most loads are no-touch, with a combination of drop-and-hook freight and scheduled live unloads. Dispatch works to keep freight moving efficiently while reducing downtime between assignments. Drivers follow a 12-day operating schedule with a guaranteed 48-hour reset every other weekend. Organized dispatch coordination helps create balanced workloads and dependable home time while supporting steady regional miles. Planned freight movement allows drivers to spend more time driving and less time waiting for their next assignment. Drivers operate 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors equipped with automatic transmissions, APUs, inverters, refrigerator space, and TV and microwave mounts. Equipment is maintained through scheduled preventive maintenance programs.
