The CDL-A Driver will safely transport primarily refrigerated, no-touch freight across assigned over-the-road routes while maintaining full compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards. This position requires a safety-first mindset, professionalism behind the wheel, and the ability to consistently deliver freight on schedule while protecting company equipment and customer cargo.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
Minimum three months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience.
Safe driving history with a strong commitment to DOT compliance.
Ability to support extended over-the-road assignments.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Stable employment history.
U.S.-based citizens only. No exceptions.
Must currently reside within 100 miles of Madison, Wisconsin, or be willing to relocate before employment.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Safely transport freight throughout assigned over-the-road routes.
Operate commercial vehicles in full compliance with DOT regulations.
Complete comprehensive pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate electronic logs and transportation documentation.
Practice defensive driving techniques while maintaining a strong safety record.
Communicate professionally with dispatch regarding deliveries, route changes, and operational updates.
Represent the company with professionalism during customer interactions.
Transport primarily refrigerated, no-touch freight.
Operate late-model Freightliner tractors (three years old or newer).
Pull modern 53-foot trailers equipped with automatic transmissions.
Complete over-the-road assignments lasting approximately two to three weeks.
Ensure cargo remains secure throughout transportation.
Deliver freight safely while meeting scheduled delivery commitments.
