About The Position
We are seeking CDL-A drivers for a semi-local lane. This position is for solo drivers with a minimum of 3 months of experience. The lane operates within California, averaging 2,074 miles per week. The work week is Tuesday to Saturday, with a potential sixth day required based on customer demand. Daily working hours are 12-14 hours, with start times between 14:00 and 18:00. Drivers may experience 2-3 layovers per week. The freight is no-touch, but drivers will be responsible for chaining loads when weather conditions require it due to the heavy cargo transported.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT medical card
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable and recent trailer driving experience
- Good employment record
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents or violations in the last 3 years
- Must be 21 years old minimum
- Must have personal transportation
- Must pass a drug test
- Drug-free status required (SAP candidates are NOT accepted)
