Crafted Staff is recruiting qualified Class A CDL drivers and owner operators for oilfield hauling, frac sand transportation, and dry bulk trucking in West Texas, with some assignments in Southern New Mexico. The work is not remote; contractors must be able to report to and work in the operating area. Applicants from all U.S. states may apply if they meet the applicable requirements and are willing and able to work in Texas. Two 1099 independent contractor/subcontractor opportunities are available. The equipment-provided CDL-A driver opportunity pays 25% of weekly billed revenue, with weekly settlements and reported average weekly gross contractor earnings of approximately $3,000 (a typical reported range of $2,500–$4,000), depending on billed revenue and available loads. A semi truck and trailer are provided, along with a fuel card, maintenance, and insurance for company-provided equipment. Trucks are automatic sleepers equipped with a bed, refrigerator, microwave, and GPS, and have no in-cab cameras. Dispatch and scheduling support is provided. Earnings vary, are not guaranteed, and are before personal tax obligations. The owner operator lease-on program offers up to 90% of billed revenue depending on equipment and insurance arrangements. Available structures are a 90/10 split for operators bringing their own insurance and equipment, an 88/12 split for operators bringing their own insurance and using an available trailer/equipment option, and an 85/15 split for operators needing insurance and equipment support. Weekly settlements and trailer rental options are available. Owner operators must have their own road-ready Class 8 tractor. The specific split and any equipment or insurance costs depend on the agreed arrangement. Assignments depend on customer demand and availability and may include short-haul, regional, and longer-haul runs. Most routes are local or regional, commonly 30–200 miles; longer-haul work may be available but is not guaranteed, and regular cross-country routes are not the primary focus. Local and regional assignments may involve approximately 2–3 loads per day, depending on demand and assignment. Materials may include frac, dry, and wet sand; cement; ash; aggregate; and other oilfield and dry bulk materials. Equipment may include hopper-bottom trailers, dry sand hoppers, wet sand belly dumps, pneumatic trailers, and double-box chassis. Loads and equipment needs vary by assignment.
