About The Position

Our primary operating area is throughout the eastern United States, and we never require drivers to deliver within New York City's five boroughs. We offer paid CDL Graduate Training for new CDL-A holders. Our paid over-the-road training program includes 4 to 6 weeks with an experienced trainer and guaranteed weekly training pay. Immediate transition to full solo driver pay after successful completion is provided. Applicants must have completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL training school. We provide $300 paid orientation, hotel accommodations, and transportation to orientation. Benefits begin after 30 days and include medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, 401(k) with company matching contributions, company-paid life insurance, disability coverage, and employee stock purchase opportunities. Paid time off begins accruing on your first day of employment.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age
Valid Class A CDL
Current DOT Medical Card
Safe driving record
Six months of recent OTR experience or graduation from an accredited CDL program
Ability to pass a background screening and pre-employment drug test
Completion of at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL training school (for CDL graduates)

Responsibilities

Drive a commercial vehicle
Transport dry van freight
Handle no-touch loads
Perform live loading and unloading as needed
Operate within the primary lanes east of Interstate 35
Adhere to a schedule of 12 days on the road followed by 2 days at home
Complete paid over-the-road training with an experienced trainer for 4 to 6 weeks
