Local CDL A Driver $1,600-$1,800/Wk- Home Daily
About The Position
This position is built for drivers who want consistency without giving up their evenings. Drivers will be home daily, averaging 1,600 miles per week and 10 stops per week, all within 150 miles of home. Shifts average 8 hours, starting between 4 PM and 2 AM. Drivers will have one set weekend day off each week, plus a floating weekday off during the slower season. The fleet consists of 2023 Freightliner day cabs with automatic transmissions and outward-facing cameras only. The freight is reefer, mostly groceries in dual and tri-temp trailers, with all driver unload, pallet jack, and some hand unloading required.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- At least 6 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
- No more than 3 DOT recordable accidents in the past 3 years
Responsibilities
- Drive tractor-trailer combination
- Perform all driver unload, pallet jack with some hand unloading
- Operate outward-facing cameras only
- Transport reefer freight, mostly groceries in dual and tri-temp trailers
