About The Position
Kroger is looking for CDL-A drivers for their local lane. This position offers daily home time and a consistent work environment. Drivers will handle live unloads and drop & hook loads with no touch freight. The shift typically involves night, evening, and early morning hours. There is no mountain driving required.
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years old.
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Current DOT medical card.
- At least 3 months of verifiable driver experience.
- Verifiable and recent trailer driving experience with a good employment record.
- Must be drug-free; SAP candidates are not accepted.
Responsibilities
- Perform live unloads and drop & hook.
- Complete 1-3 loads per day, averaging 13 stops and 1,700 miles per week.
- Ensure drug-free status.
