About The Position

BSP Trans Inc. has been providing the Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont areas with outstanding LTL transportation services since 1970. At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers. We have an immediate opening for our CDL A Driver 1st Shift position. This is a Full Time role, Monday through Friday, with a start time between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, based on business needs. We offer a new increased starting rate of $34.00 per hour.

Requirements

CDL A with HazMat endorsement. If you do not have a Hazmat Endorsement, we will help you obtain it.
DOT Medical Card
Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor trailer Class A CDL experience
Must successfully pass required DOT Drug Test and physical
Clean Driving and Safety Record
Must have a successful completion of a county level background check during onboarding
Ability to exert physical effort in handling (pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) objects of more than 75 lbs

Responsibilities

Operate vehicle in accordance with BSP Trans, Inc. safety procedures and operating standards, OSHA, DOT and local, state and federal laws.
Perform freight pick-ups and deliveries within the Maine and New Hampshire area in accordance with company standard of customer service and professionalism. Deliveries include both commercial and residential.
Effectively communicate with dispatch for route updates and stops and any delays that are impactful of the daily schedule.
