About The Position
DriveTime Transports is hiring CDL-A drivers for daily-home intermodal work out of Lancaster, Texas. Drivers will be scheduled Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday, with day and night shifts available. The position offers two consecutive days off and compensation of $0.55 per mile plus $29 per load. Applicants must live within 30 miles of Lancaster, Texas.
Requirements
- Hold a CDL-A and have at least 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
- Live within 30 miles of Lancaster, Texas.
- Have no more than three truck-driving jobs in the past 12 months.
- Provide verifiable CDL-A experience.
- Have no more than two moving violations in the past two years and no serious traffic violations in the past 12 months.
- Have no more than one on-road or DOT-preventable loss in the past two years, and no major preventable accidents in the past five years.
- Provide reports for all accidents.
- Have no DUI/DWI within the past 10 years.
- Drivers in the SAP program are not eligible for this account.
Responsibilities
- Drive tractor-trailers for intermodal work.
- Complete assigned loads according to the scheduled workweek.
