Class A CDL Driver

CK TransportationColumbus, OH
Onsite

About The Position

CK Transportation is hiring a CDL A driver for a Columbus-based position built around consistent freight lanes instead of constantly changing routes. This fleet runs repeat Midwest and Northeast corridors where volume stays steady, allowing drivers to keep miles predictable and plan their week with fewer surprises. A typical week begins with outbound freight early in the workweek, followed by planned reloads through established shipping lanes in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and surrounding states. Drivers normally return by Friday, allowing a full weekend reset at home before the next dispatch cycle begins. Because freight is planned ahead of time, drivers are not waiting on last-minute dispatch decisions or losing hours searching for the next load. This creates a smoother week and helps keep miles steady from paycheck to paycheck. Orientation lasts approximately two to three days. Hotel and meals are provided, and orientation pay is included with the first paycheck. Drivers leave orientation knowing their lanes, dispatcher contacts, and weekly expectations. CK Transportation operates regional and over-the-road fleets with a focus on organized freight flow, dependable equipment, and direct communication so every Class A CDL driver can count on a predictable schedule and steady work.
