About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. This is a full-time position with overtime available, primarily involving van work within a 60-mile radius. The role requires adherence to safety regulations, effective route planning, accurate record-keeping, and communication with dispatch.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- 2 years of experience
- Acceptable MVR and driving record
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and record keeping.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Good attitude and willing to learn the job.
Responsibilities
- Primarily Vans work within 60 miles
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Company uses trucking software with dual facing cameras
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
