About The Position
GROCERIES LANE NEEDS CDL-A DRIVERS. This is a local driving position for a CDL-A driver who wants to work with frozen and fresh groceries. Drivers will be operating reefer trailers with slip seating, and the freight is mostly no-touch. However, driver's assistance may be needed occasionally, which will involve using an electric pallet jack. Drivers can expect to make 15+ stops per week with 2 loads per day. The pay rate is between $0.68 - $0.74cpm, with an average of 1409 miles driven per week. Trucks will be equipped with slip seating, and uniforms will be provided. There are various schedules and start times available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Requirements
- Class A License (CDL A)
- 21 years or older
- 3 months of verifiable experience
- Personal transportation
- Pass a drug test
- Clean driving record (any violations must be cleared)
- No SAP drivers
Responsibilities
