About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious CDL A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety standards and adherence to all DOT regulations. You will work independently and as part of a team to maintain a positive and respectful work environment, contributing to the company's success by delivering to our customers on time.
Requirements
- 24 months experience driving a tractor trailer in the past 5 years
- Valid Class A CDL, with a current DOT medical card
- 21 years of age or older
- Pass a road test
- Acceptable driving record per policy
- Acceptable responses to previous Employment Verifications
- Pass a background check, and pre-employment tests
- Safe driving record and continuous dedication to upholding high safety standards
- Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain all DOT required licenses and documentation
- Able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs. for touch freight positions
- Adhere to DOT Rules and Regulations
- Operate in a constant state of alertness, and safe manner
- Safely get in and out of the cab on your own
- Execute on-time pickup and deliveries
- Adhere to safety and quality standards on and off the road
- Interact in a positive and a professional manner with general public while delivering products to locations

Responsibilities
- Safely drive a commercial motor vehicle (tractor and trailer)
- Comply with safety/operating policies and procedures
- Work well independently, and in a team setting
- Deliver to customers on-time
- Complete deliveries on schedule and interface with customers effectively
- Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
- Work cooperatively and productively with supervisors and other associates to complete tasks
- Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
- Perform and document pre and post trip inspections and complete all necessary paperwork
- All other duties as assigned
