This fleet operates similarly to over-the-road (OTR) but keeps drivers within 27 states east of Denver, specifically excluding the Northeast. New CDL holders will receive paid training and a guaranteed minimum income once they begin solo driving. Drivers can expect to drive between 1,800 to 2,400 miles per week, with a mix of drop-and-hook and live load/unload freight. Riders and pets are permitted after the initial training period. The average weekly gross pay ranges from $1,200 to $1,800, with a guaranteed $1,000 weekly pay for the first three months of solo driving. Additional compensation includes $15 per stop and a monthly performance bonus. Drivers are typically home every 2 to 3 weeks.
