About The Position
TOMRA, an international recycling company, is looking for a CDL-A Driver in New Bedford, MA. This position involves preparing, receiving, and providing documentation for deliveries/pickups, maintaining contact with dispatch, and ensuring good customer relations. The role requires occasional lifting of 25-50lbs and the use of a handheld device for tracking inventory and client relations.
Requirements
- 1 year of CDLA Driving experience
- Must have a "satisfactory" driving record
- Knowledgeable on how to use handheld devices like smart phones or other similar devices, or ability to learn these skills
- Experience in client relations
Responsibilities
- Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service
- Maintains contact with dispatcher to receive delivery or pick up instructions or to receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick up
- Maintain customer relations while on route
- Occasionally lifting 25-50lbs at a time while loading and unloading trucks
- Use of handheld device to track inventory and client relations
