About The Position

As a Class A CDL Driver at United Rentals, you will deliver equipment to customers safely, promptly, efficiently, and courteously. You will interact frequently with customers, represent the company, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items weighing up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, including semi-trucks and trailers (low boys), consistent with CDL-A and DOT classification.
• Follow equipment-specific safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
