About The Position

This position offers a comprehensive training program for CDL A drivers. You will start with a trainer in the cab for 4 to 6 weeks, earning $800 per week. During this paid training period, you will learn essential skills such as backing, trip planning, logs, and fueling. Once your trainer deems you ready, you will transition to driving your own truck, with a guaranteed minimum weekly pay of $1,000 for the first 3 months. Drivers can expect to average between $1,200 to $1,800 per week as their experience grows, with additional pay for stops and a monthly performance bonus. The routes cover 27 states from Colorado eastward (excluding New England), with drivers typically running 1,800 to 2,400 miles per week and being home every two weeks.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school.
• Valid license in your state and work history for the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with backing into tight docks.
• Familiarity with trip planning, logs, and fueling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive a commercial truck over 27 states from Colorado east, no New England.
• Operate truck for 1,800 to 2,400 miles per week.
• Complete training including backing, trip planning, logs, and fueling.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Communicate with dispatch and other team members.
