About The Position

This is a dual role position for a CDL A Driver/Warehouse Associate, with approximately 80% of the time spent driving and 20% in the warehouse. The driver will operate out of the Louisville, KY warehouse, making deliveries to IL on Mondays/Tuesdays and MI on Wednesdays/Thursdays, returning to KY each time. Fridays will involve warehouse work and local deliveries. The company provides a sleeper cab for overnight trips. This position is for a single individual who will be compensated per mile when driving for overnight trips and hourly when working in the warehouse in Kentucky. Requirements

CDL A license.
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Clean PSP.
Clean DOT Clearinghouse.
Ability to obtain a DOT Medical card (company will pay).
Driving experience (rate depends on experience).

Responsibilities

Drive a truck or van with a capacity of over 26,001 GVW, primarily to deliver or pickup merchandise within a specified area (Midwest states).
Load or unload the truck.
Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Prepare items for shipment.
Arrange for customer pick-up.
Participate in assembling, addressing, and shipping materials.
Perform warehouse duties when not on over-the-road or local deliveries.
