CDL A Driver Semi-Local
About The Position
Flint Logistics is hiring experienced CDL-A truck drivers with at least one year of recent tractor-trailer experience and a valid Hazmat endorsement. This dedicated account delivers auto parts to closed retail locations using electric pallet jacks. Drivers typically complete 3 to 6 stops per day and approximately 30 unloads each week across five established delivery routes. Drivers average 1,700 to 1,800 miles per week while delivering to eight stores throughout the Southeast. Nighttime deliveries are completed using liftgate trailers, and each route includes detailed delivery instructions, store keys, alarm codes, and route information.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of recent CDL-A tractor-trailer experience
- Valid Hazmat endorsement
- Ability to work night shifts
- Comfortable unloading freight using powered equipment
Responsibilities
- Deliver auto parts to closed retail locations.
- Unload freight using electric pallet jacks.
- Complete 3 to 6 stops per day.
- Perform approximately 30 unloads each week.
- Operate 2018 or newer Kenworth and Freightliner trucks governed at 65 MPH.
- Occasionally operate a sleeper truck or box truck depending on route needs.
